a new chapter for the brewery
ruby irish red ale
ruby irish red is a sentimental favourite of brewer paul as it was his first recipe brewed after taking over block ‘n tackle brewery, named after the ketch built by rock davis of blackwall in 1904. the vessels last note was to be left on a beach near broome, western australia and allowed to disintegrate. as its name also suggests ruby has a deep red colour and white creamy head that will continue to lace the glass till the last drop. reviving the traditional style of ales, this beer resonates well with the more mature beer lover.
