'ballantyne' ginger Beer

Ballantyne is a traditional ginger ale, heavy on the ginger and on the sweetness with the addition of honey. Sitting at 1.5% its sessionable, but we recommend buying it in a growler to take home and use as a mixer, can we tempt you with a Ballantyne Moscow mule? or a Ballantyne Dark and Stormy?

Ballantyne is named after shipwright William Ballantyne, who alongside John Easson built many ships that sailed around the Brisbane Waters in the late 1800s, the records seem to show William Ballantyne first came to Brisbane Waters at the age of 15 in a ship called Clyde in 1832, originally born in Edinburgh, Scotland.
