SHIPWRIGHTS ENGLISH BITTER 4.5%
This brew pays tribute to the hard working shipwrights who plied their trade in the Brisbane Water region. A traditional English-style Best Bitter brewed with English hops, this beer offers a firm bitterness and an earthy hop flavour. This flavour is balanced with our blend of 3 different malts giving a solid malt backbone and the deep amber colour. As with the launch of the ships which were lovingly hand-built and crafted by the shipwrights, the release of this easy-drinking ale is the perfect excuse for a little celebration.
LOOLOO's IRISH COFFEE STOUT 5.0%
First brewed as a St. Patricks Day taproom pilot release in March 2021, many locals at the taproom have been begging us to brew this on a large scale so we have done them a solid.
This brew has a traditional Dry Irish Stout recipe but we have loaded it with 10kgs of lactose for some sweetness along with 65L of coffee (Private Blend) thanks to our friends at LooLoo’s.
Now you can have the best of both worlds, coffee and beer!

HPA-017 aka ‘Eclipse’ is a new age American hop that features flavours of juicy mandarin, zesty citrus peel and pine needles.
ALABAMA AMBER ALE 4.4%
A steamship built in 1889 in Blackwall by Rock Davis, Alabama was the trusted vessel to convey Rock’s coffin from Blackwall to his resting place at St Pauls in Kincumber. We’ve blended Cascade, Centennial and Simcoe hops to create some bold, fruity citrus aroma and flavour notes. This hop flavour is carefully balanced by a smooth malt profile which includes a generous amount of crystal malt to deliver the deep reddish/amber hue and the residual malt sweetness.
HENRY PIPER ENGLISH IPA 5.8%
Henry Piper is a celebration of the original IPA. Henry Piper differs from our Core Range IPA ‘Jon Piper’ in that it strikes more of a balance between the malt and hops for a more rounded flavour. Expect earthy, floral hop tones with fruity hints from the English Yeast.
This brew pays tribute to the cousin of Jon Piper and fellow shipwright Henry Piper.

ALCHYMIST WC-IPA 6.1%
What can we say about Alchymist? This beer is not for the weak. The hop profile of this beast packs a bitterness that will literally punch you in the face.
The best thing about the Alchymist is it’s a bit of a fun experiment, some hops go in are from labelled bags, and others are a mystery! This makes for an exciting end product as we never know what to expect!
ZEPHYR DRY IRISH STOUT 4.1%
Block ‘n Tackle honour all that is Irish with our Zephyr Dry Irish Stout. Made with a blend of 3 malts this one is for the fans of the dark arts with loads of coffee, chocolate and dry roasted flavours. Combine this with a slightly lower mash temperature this stout is light of body, but full of flavour. We’ve used an ale yeast and a fractionally warmer fermentation temperature to produce the slightly fruity ester delivering a little sweetness to balance the dryness of the malt.
PEACHY KEEN SUMMER ALE 4.2%
This recent addition to the seasonal rotation has had a few incarnations since its first release in 2019. A simple light grain bill is used as a base to showcase the summer fruit flavours of the multiple New Zealand hop additions.
No real peaches were harmed in the brewing process.
